I cannot connect to the remote desktop. What's wrong?

Our Linux VPS and Premium VPS services do not come with remote desktop capabilities by default. If you are trying to connect to your VPS with Microsoft's Remote Desktop software, it's not going to work since Linux does not support it.

If you are looking to have a remote desktop environment, you'll have to install a window manager such as Gnome, XFCE, KDE, etc. Then you can either install a VNC server or use NoMachine to connect to your VPS via remote desktop.

We provide remote desktop installation service for you for only a $10 fee. You can purchase this server in Addons section in your client area.

We install xRDP and XFCE unless some other window manager is asked.
