What payment methods do you accept?
All major credit cards including Visa / MasterCard / American Express / Discover / JCB, PayPal, Bitcoin, Apple Pay, Alipay, WebMoney, UPI, iDEAL, Sofort, GiroPay, UnionPay, Boleto, DOKU.
Do you offer a money back guarantee?
Yes! We want you to be completely satisfied with our service, so we encourage you to try us out. If VPSDime doesn't meet your needs, simply contact us within 3 days (72 hours from your first invoice date/time) for a full refund. Please note that there are no refunds are provided when a TOS/AUP breach has occurred.
Do you accept Bitcoin?
Sure, we do. We encourage the use of crypto payments.
How will I be billed for my services?
You could choose to be billed monthly, quarterly, semi-annually, or annually. You could change the period you want to be billed by submitting a ticket.
How long does VPS provisioning take?
We provide almost-instant provisioning upon payment unless we are out of stock. All new orders are screened against fraud. Please allow some time if it's your first order.
Can I upgrade/downgrade my account?
You could place an upgrade or downgrade order in your client area. LinuxVPS plans are easily upgraded and downgraded on-the-fly without downtime. Other product lines only require a reboot for upgrades and downgrades.
Can I purchase an additional IP Address?
We offer additional IPv4 addresses at a cost of $2 each per month. You could easily order more IP addresses in your client area. All IP address orders are subject to proper justification.
Am I locked in to a contract?
No. You can cancel your VPS at any time you want. We do not require a redemption period like other companies.
What happens if I run out of traffic allocation?
Our system emails you when you use 75% of your monthly traffic allocation and then again at 100%. Our system suspends your VPS if you do not upgrade your plan or purchase additional traffic in the next 24 hours of the 100% usage.
Can I purchase additional traffic?
Of course, you could easily submit additional traffic order in your client area.
Do you have an affiliate program?
Sure, we do. When you refer customers to our website, we'll give you 10% of what they spend on us, including their renewals. It's super simple! Once your account has at least $50 USD, we'll pay out.
Can I set automated payments for my VPS?
You can set up your VPS to automatically renew. There are two options for this: you could either save your credit card information and have it billed, or create a PayPal agreement with our payment processor so that the payment processor charges you directly through PayPal every month.
Can I load funds into my credit balance with you?
We make it easy for you to add funds. All you have to do is open a support ticket and let us know how much money your would like added!
Do you offer a control panel for VPS management?
With our custom built control panel, you will have full power to manage your VPS. You can use the control panel for a variety of tasks such as managing system settings and upgrading or downgrading services. Additionally, it allows you to view usage graphs so that you know which programs are using up more resources on your server compared with others at any given time.
Do I get root/Administator access?
Of course. With our Linux VPS's, you have root access and with Windows servers, you are given Administrator privileges.
Do I get dedicated IP address?
One dedicated IP is included with all of our VPS plans. If you need more, just let us know and we can add them for you to your account at any time
Does the VPS come with a web hosting control panel?
No. When you buy a VPS from us, it's like getting one of your own computers with an untouched operating system. This means that there won't be any bloatware installed on them and our customers are free to customize the OS however they'd like.
Can I install a web hosting control panel?
Of course. You have total control over the software running on your VPS. You can install any web hosting control panel that is compatible with its system requirements and limitations.
Which operating systems can I run on my VPS?
On Linux VPS plans, you have a choice of Ubuntu, Debian, CentOS, Alma Linux or Rocky Linux. On Premium VPS plans, On Premium VPS plans, you could install any distro that your heart desires - even BSD distributions like FreeBSD, OpenBSD or DragonFly if that is what tickles your fancy! Windows VPS's come with Windows Server 2019 Datacenter edition.
What virtualization technology do you use?
On Linux VPS, we use Virtuozzo / OpenVZ 7. On Premium VPS, our technology of choice is KVM/qemu. Our Windows VPS products are based on Hyper-V platform.
Can I run Docker?
Our VPS's are fully supported with Docker, so you can run whatever containerized apps or services that will work best for your business.
Are resources dedicated to my VPS?
Your memory and disk space are solely dedicated to your VPS at all times. Linux and Windows VPS plans have CPU cores shared while Premium VPS's come with CPU cores dedicated. Our in-house monitoring systems make sure that there is always available resources for you to run your applications without bottlenecks and get maximum value out of your money. If your use case needs fully dedicated resources, you could take advantage our Premium plans.
Do you support OpenVPN?
Our infrastructure is compatible with the major VPN software and we support all of it.
Do you offer IPv6?
Most of our locations support IPv6. If you require IPv6 with your VPS, please contact us before purchasing.
Do you backup my VPS?
The Linux VPS and Windows VPS plans are not backed up unless you purchase the nightly backup feature. The Premium VPS plan comes with a free daily backup, which is already included in the price of your package. For more information regarding backups, please see Nightly Backups
Do you offer DDoS protection?
Our network is built to handle small attacks, however, for bigger attacks, our system automatically null-routes the IP address of your VPS so other customers on our network wouldn't get affected. If you need dedicated DDoS protection, please contact us before placing your order. Alternatively, we recommend utilizing Cloudflare's services against DDoS attacks.
What are your node specs?
We utilize enterprise grade Dell servers in our well built datacenters. We use write intensive SSDs as the storage system and configure it to RAID10 for speed and redundancy. Our experienced techs build these servers by hand, thoroughly test them before they go into production, then make them available for you!
Do you offer a network uptime SLA?
We know that downtime is a critical issue for our customers, so we've made sure to prioritize their needs. We have N+1 redundancy in network and enjoy providing near no downtime to them with 99.9% uptime guaranteed by an SLA!
Do you offer a power uptime SLA?
Our power infrastructure is excellent and we guarantee 99.99% uptime for our clients.
Where are your servers located?
We have datacenters located in Dallas, TX; Seattle, WA; Los Angeles, CA; New Jersey; United Kingdom and The Netherlands.
How can I contact your support?
We provide billing and technical support by tickets. Simply login to your client area to submit a ticket, which one of our courteous employees will attend upon promptly. We take pride our instant-chat like response times.
What is your support coverage?
Our services are self-managed, but our support team is always on standby to help out. We have a 24/7 staffed department and reply within minutes of receiving your ticket. If there are any accessibility issues to your VPS, we will resolve them as soon as possible. Any other requests are handled in a courtesy basis. We promise that we will always go the extra mile to make you satisfied.
I am not a technical person, can I still use your service?
No problem! You can enjoy our great value by hiring a freelancer system admin and having them handle your technical tasks. We also offer best effort basis for services like this if you need it done right away.
What is your support ticket reply times?
Our customer service representatives are available all day, every day. Try contacting us on a national holiday or Christmas! We'll reply in minutes - just test us!
Can I hire you to install X software for me?
Yes, please reach out using our support system and we'll provide a quote.
Why do you only have Level 3 support staff?
We aim to provide a prompt and effective solution when you contact us with an issue. It can be frustrating having to go back and forth between different departments in order to get the resolution that works for you, which is why we only hire highly skilled staff members who are able resolve most issues as fast as humanly possible.
Can you manage my VPS for me?
Unfortunately, we do not offer full management service. You could hire our system admin time for odd tasks but if you'd like full management of your VPS, we recommend you to consider hiring a freelancer or company with the services to manage it instead.
Legal / Privacy
How safe is my data?
We have a firm stance on not going through your data. We will access it only when you approve or if there is a valid court order to do so. In both cases, we won't share any personal information without permission from the customer or there's been an official court order issued.
Can I migrate my data away?
Sure. To migrate data away from us, please contact us and we will package it in an industry-recognised format for easy migration.
Can I ask my contact information to be deleted?
Of course. We fully comply GDPR and any other data protection acts. Please contact us to have your information to be deleted.
What are the restrictions on what I could host on my VPS?
