Moving off of uklegvz7highram4

Due to hardware problems occured in uklegvz7highram4 yesterday, we are migrating all the VPS's off of this node to a new node as a precaution.

You will notice a few minutes of downtime while your VPS turns off on the old node and powers on on the new one. There shouldn't be more than 15 minutes of downtime during this.

Let us know if you experience a longer downtime.

We have detected a hardware problem on node dalvz7highram50 that is not being able to solved. Therefore, we are migrating the VPS's on it to another node.

UK datacenter move underway

Friday, 17 June 2022, 15:00 - the UK datacenter move is underway, and affects UK VPS on host nodes starting with "ukvz". If your VPS is on a host node starting with "uklegvz" or anything else, it is not affected by this action.

A reminder of the timeframe provided by the datacenter:

START: Friday, June 17, 2022, @ 21:00 (9 PM BST)
FINISH: Saturday, June 18, 2022, @ 07:00 (7 AM BST)

Like many things in life this time range is not absolutely guaranteed. We notified you of this move previously with the expectation that you'll take action to set up any business continuity requirements you had during this range.

We appreciate you refraining from opening tickets to notify us that your VPS on a host node starting with "ukvz" is down in this time range, or to ask if there's "any update". Rest assured that we will post more info to this announcement as we have it. 

We understand that datacenter moves are disruptive, however the hosting company will be able to provide more stable service. We thank you for your patience and understanding.

UK connectivity issues

There is a connectivity problem affecting some nodes in the United Kingdom. The datacenter staff has been notified and they have acknowledged the problem and are actively investigating it.

Update 20:51 CST: The servers are back online.

Reason for Outage: A PDU in the rack has failed and has been replaced by the datacenter staff. Our servers are connected to redundant power, so the PDU failure did not affect our servers physically. However, unfortunately the top of the rack switch which is supplied and managed by the datacenter was only connected to single side of power. This caused the switch to power off. Once the PDU has been replaced, the switch came back online, making the network of the affected nodes to go back up.

We are aware that there is a network connectivity problem in Dallas and we are working on it.

India connectivity problem

We've received reports about connectivity issues when the end user is connecting to our network in Dallas using some India network providers

We have contacted them and waiting for a reply.

Your servers are all up and working when connected from all other network providers.

Unfortunately, there is nothing we can do to resolve the issue as it's not caused by us. Many other hosting providers are having the exact same issue.

This problem should be resolved by Airtel, BSNL, Tata service providers.

We are monitoring the things on our side and we will update you once we know more.
