Hello,

You are receiving this message regarding work on our seapure5 server where you have active VPSDime service.

Tomorrow, Thursday January 5 2017, at 10 AM PST (UTC-8), we will be installing additional memory modules in this host node. We will begin shutting down the server approximately 20 minutes in advance to ensure a 10 AM start time with the technicians, so you can expect your VM to go down sometime between 9:40 and 10 AM PST (UTC-8). Please work to ensure your services are prepared to automatically start after a reboot action. Note that no customer data will be modified in any way by this operation.

We are specifying an hour of downtime total for this operation, although we expect it to be much less.

We apologize for the inconvenience, however we appreciate your understanding, and we are committed to providing you with the best service at a great price. Please don't hesitate to open a ticket if you have any questions or comments. Thank you.

ukpure12 Emergency Maintenance

08 December 2016, 10:53 - The following notice was sent to affected clients:

Hello,

You are receiving this message regarding emergency work on our ukpure12 server where you have active VPSDime service.

This evening, Thursday December 8 2016, at 9 PM UK time, we will be replacing memory modules in this server that have begin alerting that they are failing. We are scheduling this for immediate replacement as the memory modules are no longer active in the memory pool, causing an increase in memory pressure on this particular server.

We will begin shutting down the server approximately 20 minutes in advance to ensure a 9 PM start time, so you can expect your VM to go down sometime between 8:40 and 9 PM UK time. Please work to ensure your services are prepared to automatically start after a reboot action. Note that no customer data will be modified in any way by this operation.

We are specifying an hour of downtime total for this operation, although we expect it to be much less.

We apologize for the inconvenience and the short notice on this, however the grievous situation mandates quick action. We appreciate your understanding, and we are committed to providing you with the best service at a great price. Please don't hesitate to open a ticket if you have any questions or comments. 23 November 2016, 07:08 - we're investigating an outage of our dalhighram4 server now. 

23 November 2016, 07:19 - host node had a kernel panic. Server has been rebooted and is back online and booting containers now. 

23 November 2016, 07:40 - this has reoccurred, investigating further

23 November 2016, 08:09 - rebooted, all VMs except for two are back online. Yes, we know the node is in maintenance mode and currently locked. We'll be running it like this for awhile to ensure stability. 

23 November 2016, 08:27 - the cause has been identified and rectified. Server should be stable now.

04 November 2016, 10:58 - Datacenter has confirmed a short network outage lasting ~10 minutes, and have applied a fix to prevent a reoccurrence.

21 September 2016 | 8:08 PM - The root cause of the outage has been identified and resolved. The MySQL service is restarting, this process will take a while due to the size of the database.

Network outage in Dallas Location

We are aware of the network outage in Dallas at this time.

We are waiting on updates from our upstream provider. Please follow this announcement in the client area for updates.

There is no ETR at this time.

UPDATE - 05:41 PM CST - The outage has been resolved and all Dallas nodes are responsive at this time. We will have a RFO at a later date and time.

06 July 2016 | 06:02 PM - We had dampening from GTT for some of our ranges which is resolved now.

06 July 2016 | 06:04 PM - Everything should be back up, however you may have issues connecting to your VPS's from some locations due to BGP reconvergence. If you can't reach your VPS's IP, please check it again from a different location, or use a ping service like https://asm.ca.com/en/ping.php to see if it's really down. This issue should be resolved in the following minutes.

ukpure6 RAM upgrade

Hello,

We are writing to inform you of an upcoming short outage on our ukpure6 server where you have active service.

We will be shutting this server down at approximately 21:40 GMT+1 Wednesday, July 6, 2016 to swap RAM within the server. We have this action planned for a 22:00 start time with the datacenter, and have directed them to work to ensure that everything is set up properly so that work can begin as soon as the server is powered off to minimize downtime.

All VMs on the server will be gracefully shut down before the host node is shut down. No data will be modified within VMs in any way or form. Please take this time to ensure that your VM reboots without issue to ensure that it comes back online when the server is powered on again.

We expect this maintenance action to take no more than 60 minutes or so once the RAM swap work begins, but could take longer if any issues are encountered.
