My rsyslogd process is using loads of CPU. What to do?

(As of late 2016 this has been resolved in the VPS templates. This article remains for history. )

Simply run these commands:
service rsyslog stop
sed -i -e 's/^\$ModLoad imklog/#\$ModLoad imklog/g' /etc/rsyslog.conf
service rsyslog start
