How to list your PayPal subscriptions

What this is#

How to find and manage the recurring payments on your PayPal account, on PayPal's own website. PayPal calls these automatic payments, subscriptions, or billing agreements, and this guide walks through PayPal's interface, not your VPSDime account. It shows every merchant you have a recurring PayPal payment with, not only VPSDime.

This is not the same as our Manage Subscriptions page. To turn a VPSDime service's auto-renewal on or off, use our own Manage Subscriptions page. This PayPal guide is only for viewing or cancelling the agreement on PayPal's side; the section on stopping a VPSDime renewal below explains how the two fit together.

Finding your subscriptions on PayPal#

1. Log in to your PayPal account at paypal.com.
2. Click the Settings (gear) icon near the top of the page.
3. Open the Payments tab.
4. Click Manage automatic payments (also shown as Automatic payments or Pre-approved payments).
5. PayPal lists the merchants you have automatic payments set up with. Click any one to see its details.

Cancelling a subscription#

On the automatic payment's detail page, click Cancel (labelled something like "Cancel automatic payments") and confirm. PayPal stops future automatic charges to that merchant. Any invoice that's already due still needs to be paid.

Stopping a VPSDime renewal#

Cancelling the agreement on PayPal stops PayPal charging you, but the cleanest way to switch a VPSDime service's auto-renewal on or off is from your client area. See Automatic renewals. If you cancel only on PayPal's side, the service simply falls back to manual renewal and you pay each invoice yourself.

If you've cancelled the service itself, there's nothing you need to do here: we only charge for active services, so a cancelled service's agreement isn't charged again.
