How can I connect my Windows VPS using an Android phone or device
What this is
Connecting to your Windows VPS from an Android phone, tablet, or Chromebook with Microsoft's free Remote Desktop client. Have your VPS IP and Administrator password handy (both in your welcome email, subject "New Windows VPS - Provisioning Started").
Steps
-
Install Remote Desktop by Microsoft from Google Play, open it, and accept the license.
-
Tap the + icon in the top right.

- Tap Add Manually.

- Enter your VPS IP in the PC name field and save.

- Tap the connection you just created.

- Enter
Administratoras the Username, paste your password, and tap Continue.

- Tick "Never ask again for connections to this PC" and tap Connect.

- You're in, your Windows VPS desktop on Android.

Can't get in?
Run the Windows Troubleshooter (https://vpsdime.com/wintroubleshooter), it checks power, RDP, and your password, and can reset the password on the spot.
Still need help?
You can open a support ticket. So we can help on the first reply, it's worth mentioning:
- the VPS hostname or IP,
- the exact message the Android client shows,
- what the Windows Troubleshooter reported.
